Admission Requirements- Neuroscience and Applied Cognitive Sciences (NACS)

We encourage applicants with experience in one or more of the fields within Neuroscience, Psychology and Applied Cognitive Science.

GRE Information

Masters

MSc/MBS students in the Collaborative Specialization in Neuroscience must meet the admission requirements of the participating department in which they are enrolled.  Students who enter the MSc program will normally have a Bachelors or Honours degree in Psychology or a related field.

The application process has two stages: first, application to the primary program of interest, identifying interest in the Collaborative Specialization as a secondary focus. If the student is admitted to the primary program, the second stage is then admission to the Collaborative Specialization .

Doctoral

PhD students in the Collaborative Specialization in Neuroscience must meet the PhD admission requirements for the participating department in which they are enrolled.   Students who enter at the PhD level will normally require a Masters degree in a related field. Related fields include, but are not limited to, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Biomedical Science, and Behavioural Neuroscience.
